Last Golf Match
Goals for next season:
-Go to the driving range before season starts and continue to go throughout the season.
-FINALLY start using my driver. Continuing to use my 3W in driver situations is unacceptable.
This Friday I'll be playing in a golf tournament and that'll be pretty much it for the rest of the year as far as competitive golf.
Seesmic for Android Observations
Below are some observations I've made after a few hours of using Seesmic for Android Twitter app and I think the observations will help build a better app.
Seesmic for Android Observations:
-Doesn't have Twitlonger support
-Doesnt allow Posterous picture/video uploads
-No option to view conversation from timeline. must be in tweet view to see "in reply to" button
-Not able to see twitter app source from timeline. must go to tweet view to see which twitter app a person used to tweet
-No option to update profile information and/or avatar
-The widget seemingly shows random tweets within my timeline. why can't it display most current or last timeline position?
-Tweet view is only way to figure out who retweeted a tweet. most apps list username or show avatar of retweeter in main timeline. this is another case of Seesmic requiring me to make more taps than necessary compared to most apps
-Background updates/notifications mess with the timeline. Twidroyd Pro is the only Android Twitter app that does notifications properly. meaning it checks for updates and sends notifications WITHOUT updating timeline and your last timeline position. in my opinion, background updates shouldn't change my last timeline position. I've been told in the past to clear my cache, but that's not the answer. the problem is with the app and how its background updates are handled. if Twidroyd Pro can do it right, it's no longer a limitation of Android.
-Photo previews in timeline are nice, but when photo view is tapped it only takes user into tweet view and then requires another tap to view photo. should be able to tap and view photo from photo preview in timeline

Weekly SITREP (30 August-5 September 2010)
Currently...at work, waiting for network people to fix network problem. Hard to do my job without a computer!
Tonight...I'll be playing in my last golf league match of the season. We didn't make it to the playoffs this year. Will be watching Rangers vs. Royals after golf match tonight.
Friday...is the start of my 4 day weekend! Playing in a golf tournament in the morning.
This weekend...I don't have any plans. Will probably be pretty lazy.

My Thoughts on Dexter Season 5
I finished watching season 4 of Dexter last night and it was crazy good. I didn’t see that ending coming at all.
So what’s next for Dexter Morgan? I watched the season 5 trailer on YouTube (see below) and it definitely looks like this could be the last season of Dexter. I haven’t heard rumors that it IS the final season, but once Dexter’s caught, how would the series continue? The trailer doesn’t show him being caught, but it clearly looks like he’s under suspicion like no other season in the past.
I’m really worried about ‘ole Dexter and was concerned even in season 4 that he’d be accused of being the Trinity killer. Mainly because Debra thought the Trinity killer stole Lundy’s documents and Dexter received the murder weapon from Arthur as a gift.
What are your thoughts on season 5? Will this be the last season?
