Weekly SITREP (7-13 Jun 2010)
Currently...counting the minutes until 1100. Leaving work early today.
Later today...I have a dental appointment, will be trading in Uncharted 2 and BioShock 1 & 2, so i can get Red Dead Redemption for Playstation 3, and golf league match tonight. This week...I'll be slowly transferring all the data from mickle75.com on Wordpress over to this Posterous site. By Friday I'd like this site to be mickle75.com. I can't justify spending $9 a month for web hosting on the current site. Saturday...will be my first day off since 31 May. I can't wait!Sent via Natty Drei
Weekly SITREP (31 May-6 Jun 10)
Currently...feeling happy that I deleted my Facebook account. All content will be deleted in 14 days according to the Facebook email I received. Not sure if I trust it.
Tomorrow...I will be going back to work for first time in over two weeks. Not looking forward to the massive amount of work that'll be waiting for me on my desk.
Wednesday...I'm hoping to bring MrsMickle75's car into shop for oil change and state inspection. We put a lot of miles on it the last two weeks and it might need new tires. Ugh.
Thursday...I'm getting a haircut after work.
Saturday & Sunday...I'll be working my one weekend a month. Sucks to take off two weeks and then have to work 11 straight days.

"Manneken Pis (Brabantian for little man piss), is a Brussels landmark. It is a small bronze fountain sculpture depicting a naked little boy urinating into the fountain's basin. There are several legends behind this statue, but the most famous is the one about Duke Godfrey II of Leuven. In 1142, the troops of this two-year-old lord were battling against the troops of the Berthouts, the lords of Grimbergen, in Ransbeke (now Neder-over-Heembeek). The troops put the infant lord in a basket and hung it in a tree, to encourage them. From there, he urinated on the troops of the Berthouts, who eventually lost the battle. Another legend goes like this: In the 14th century, Brussels was under siege by a foreign power. The city had held their ground for quite some time. The attackers had thought of a plan to place explosive charges at the city walls. A little boy named Juliaanske from Brussels happened to be spying on them as they were preparing. He urinated on the burning fuse and thus saved the city." Source: WikipediaCurrent iPhone home screen, in case you're keeping track at home.
